1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the DC Bridge platform ("Service"), operated by DC Bridge ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") at dcbridge.app, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DC Bridge. By creating an account, generating an API key, or making any API request to the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Description of Service
DC Bridge is a WhatsApp Direct Connect platform that provides:
- A REST API for sending and receiving WhatsApp messages via WebSocket protocol
- Multi-device management with per-device API keys
- Webhook-based event delivery with HMAC-SHA256 signed payloads
- Embeddable QR code pairing for WhatsApp Web connections
- An anti-ban safety engine with warm-up schedules and rate controls
- Cloud API compatibility mode for CRM integrations
DC Bridge connects to WhatsApp Web using the WebSocket protocol. The Service acts as a bridge between your application or CRM and WhatsApp. DC Bridge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC.
DC Bridge operates a zero message storage policy. Message content is processed in transit, forwarded to your configured webhook endpoint, and immediately discarded. Media files are downloaded, base64-encoded, delivered via webhook, and then deleted from memory. No message content is persisted in our systems.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use the Service, you must register an account by providing a valid email address and creating a password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password, API keys, and webhook secrets confidential and secure
- Immediately notify DC Bridge of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
API keys and webhook secrets are generated by the Service and are your sole responsibility to protect. DC Bridge is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials. You may rotate your API keys and webhook secrets at any time through the dashboard or admin API.
When email verification is enabled, you must verify your email address before accessing the Service. Accounts with unverified email addresses may have limited functionality.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not use the Service to:
- Send spam or unsolicited messages. All recipients must have opted in to receive communications from you.
- Send illegal, harmful, or abusive content. This includes but is not limited to harassment, threats, hate speech, malware, phishing, or fraudulent messages.
- Violate WhatsApp's Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with WhatsApp's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Business Policy. DC Bridge does not guarantee that use of the Service will not result in action by WhatsApp against your account or phone number.
- Circumvent safety controls. You must not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the anti-ban safety engine, warm-up schedules, rate limits, or daily sending limits.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to collect personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection regulations.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent from DC Bridge.
DC Bridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate this Acceptable Use Policy.
5. API Usage and Rate Limits
The Service enforces rate limits to ensure stability and fair usage for all users:
- API requests: 120 requests per 60-second window per IP address
- Embed endpoints: 60 requests per 60-second window per IP address
- Authentication endpoints: Stricter limits apply to login, registration, and password reset endpoints to prevent abuse
- Bulk messaging: Maximum 500 messages per bulk send request
Rate limit information is provided via response headers (X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset). Requests exceeding the rate limit will receive a 429 status code with a Retry-After header.
The anti-ban safety engine enforces additional messaging limits based on your device's connection age. New devices are subject to warm-up schedules that gradually increase daily sending limits over the first 30 days. These limits are designed to protect your WhatsApp account from being flagged or banned and must not be circumvented.
DC Bridge reserves the right to modify rate limits at any time to maintain service quality.
6. Data Handling and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key points regarding data handling:
- Zero message storage: DC Bridge does not store, log, or retain the content of any messages sent or received through the Service. Message content is processed in memory, forwarded to your webhook, and discarded.
- Media handling: Media files (images, videos, documents, audio) are downloaded from WhatsApp, base64-encoded, delivered to your webhook endpoint, and immediately discarded. No media is stored on DC Bridge servers.
- Account data: We store account registration information (name, email, hashed password), device configuration, connection logs, and webhook delivery logs as necessary to operate the Service.
- Webhook delivery logs: Metadata about webhook dispatches (event type, HTTP status code, delivery success, response time) is logged for debugging purposes. Logs are automatically pruned to the most recent 500 entries per device. No message content is included in these logs.
- Connection logs: We log connection events (connected, disconnected, QR generated) for operational monitoring. These logs do not contain message content.
- Your responsibility: You are responsible for the data you receive via webhooks and must handle it in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and documentation, is and will remain the exclusive property of DC Bridge. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
You retain all rights to the content you send through the Service. DC Bridge claims no ownership over your messages, media, or data transmitted through the platform.

- The Service depends on third-party infrastructure, including WhatsApp's servers and protocols, which are outside our control
- WhatsApp may change its protocols, terms, or enforcement practices at any time, which may affect the functionality of the Service

- The maximum number of concurrent device sessions is subject to plan limits
DC Bridge does not provide a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) for uptime guarantees unless separately agreed upon in writing. Service availability metrics are accessible via the health check endpoint.
